During the presentation ceremony of the third edition of Andalusia Flavour, the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Clara Aguilera stressed the vital contribution of this international agro-food fair as an ambassador to the values of the Mediterranean Diet and showcases the excellence of the Andalusian agro-food supply. In this sense, Aguilera was referring to the role prominent names of the kitchen have performed in the distribution and appreciation of our gastronomy throughout the world. During the event, Teresa Sáez, Director General of Extenda, as well as Rafael Ansón, President of the Royal Academy of Gastronomy accompanied the Minister. Likewise, she reminded that in the framework of the fair, a Haute Cuisine Conference would take place, “A Gastronomic Odyssey. Travel to the Mediterranean Diet”, which will serve as a meeting point for prestigious figures from international cuisine.

Aguilera highlighted the enormous opportunities that the third edition of this exhibition brings to both participating exhibitors as well as the number of professionals that will visit the fairgrounds for the three days that Andalusia Flavour runs, and that this year strengthens its professional character with the expansion of the number of stalls organised to host meetings among professionals of the agro-food industry, distribution, marketing and the Restaurant/ Catering/ Hotel Sector. All this demonstrates the strong commitment of the Organisation of Andalusia Flavour by supporting Andalusian entrepreneurs with the opening of their businesses in the new markets.
