Landaluz, Asociación Empresarial de la Calidad Certificada (Business Association for Quality Certification), is the key entity in Andalusia’s agrofood sector. It is responsible for almost 40% of the sector’s total turnover in the region, and this reflects its power and influence as the representative of Andalusia’s agrofood entrepreneurs and employers.

To contribute to the development of the Andalusian agrofood sector, Landaluz offers an extensive portfolio of initiatives in different areas of activity pertaining to trading regulations in the modern world. They encompass internationalization, the encouragement of trade through distribution channels, the promotion of trade associations, mergers and alliances, continuous diversification and innovation with regard to products and formats, continuous investment in technology and greater attention to consumer habits and tastes.

Our association’s basic role in the sector is to encourage agrofood companies to expand into national and international markets, considering the same as potential places in which to increase their sales.

The Andalusian agrofood industry produces a wide variety of products which directly reflect the cultural, social and environmental conditions existent in Andalusia. The very nature of these products, combined with their outstanding quality, has served to endow many of them with great prestige and in so doing publicise the benefits of our Mediterranean Diet throughout the world.

Those properties of a product which differentiate it from similar products, such as its origin, its beneficial effects on health, traditional and natural production methods or environment friendly production processes, are essentially factors of quality differentiation.
Calidad Certificada (Certified Quality) therefore guarantees the quality of the agrofood products created or marketed by duly authorized companies, facilitating their identification by consumers in the market place by means of a label bearing the association’s logotype.
