La Vieja Fabrica, the renown brand of marmalade’s known for it´s distinct and certified quality, was actively present during the last hosting of the contest “Best New Chef of the year”. This event was organized in the headquarters of the Business Association of Andalusia (Seville) by Landaluz in collaboration with the Ministry if Agriculture and Fishing, which has reunited Andalusian gastronomy around the the indisputable protagonist, the tapa.
The Best new chef of the year contest is an event promoted by the hospitality and restaurant sector of Andalusia, supported by Landaluz. Additionally it is solid and continuous objective for the spread of traditional yet innovative Andalusian cuisine
La Vieja Fabrica has launched a new line Cocina Selecta, the perfect solution to accompany and personalize the recipes, giving them a special touch which brings them to a new level. By doing this they have sponsored a series of conferences that were given by the nations greatest chefs and the most prominent emerging tapas bars.
The event “Enjoying tapas with la Vieja Fabrica” was organized by the Chef Francia Paniego Sanchez who demonstrated a cooking show of six delicious specialties of the Vieja Fabrica- Selected cuisine (Tomato marmalade, apple compote, chestnut cream, Angel´s hair preserve, flower honey and blueberry marmalade.) Delicious Treats prepared with imagination and mastery, reserved only for the greatest chefs.
The conference was concluded with some original tapas prepared by two outstanding Sevillian establishments, Nesana and PuraTasca.
